I can’t stress this enough: LET HER MAKE THE MOVE. Do your best to create a safe space and keep a bit of distance. If she doesn’t make a move within the amount of time you would have liked her to, just shut it and walk away. Do not pester her with your expectations. Chances are you’re not the first one to try that night, or that week, and that there have been a few douches before you who really made her time unpleasurable, so her guards are up for a reason; you being interested in her does not give you the permission to judge her for it.
